About Us
Salyer Taylor Mechanical Contractors is a company based in Muncie, Indiana and has proudly been serving Central Indiana for over 20 years. The company was founded in 1992 and specialized in industrial piping. When faced with an industrial downturn it became crucial for us to adapt to the needs of our consumers and supplement our services with a commercial and service platform .
STMC works on a time and material basis and contracted price projects and performs several bid and spec projects annually.
Our company is experienced and structured to perform projects ranging from small retrofitting alterations up to multi million dollar state of the art construction projects. Loyal repeat customers are the foundations of our business, and we strive to ensure that every customer we gain becomes a repeat customer. This objective is reached through unequaled professional service tailored to the needs of our customers while being accomplished in a manner to exceed expectations. We constantly strive to meet our customers ever changing needs and take great pride in our accomplishments in doing this.
Our team is led by President Andy Taylor, son of founder Dick Taylor. Andy Taylor has been in the industry and a union member for 18 years. Dick Taylor had been in the industry and a union member for 46 years. He took his expertise, knowledge, and customer service mentality and instilled these in his son.
Employees of STMC are members of local union 440 based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees have been thorough extensive training programs, a drug testing panel, and a thorough background check before arriving onsite to service your needs.
